BOYS SWIMMING
Varsity Men had a great season in 2017 bringing together a new group of young and talented swimmers. They placed 6th overall at WACC League Championships despite being one of the smaller teams in our League with 8 swimmers total. Each member of the team swam their best races of the year at Championships and all 3 relays received North Coast Section Consideration Times. The 200 Medley Relay, consisted of Brian Wu, Kieran Linnane, Aaron Wu, and Henry Saunders, came in 5th Place overall with a time of 1:49.79. The 400 Free Relay also came in 5th overall at WACC League, consisted of Kieran Linnane, Oscar Kim-Dangle, Aaron Wu, and Brian Wu, with a time of 1:36.25. The 200 Free Relay came in 6th overall and consisted of Kieran Linnane, Henry Saunders, Aaron Wu, and Brian Wu, with a time of 3:41.45.
GIRLS SWIMMING
Varsity Women had an amazing season with 6 wins 3 losses in 2017 and placed 4th overall at WACC League Championships. Piedmont ladies had 3 relays and 2 individual swimmers qualify for North Coast Sections and placed 10th overall. The 200 Medley Relay received a CIF State Automatic Time of 1:50.08 coming in 8th place overall at NCS. The 200 Medley Relay, consisted of Casey Lane, Sasha Liu, Skyler Liu, and Annika Disney, went undefeated in regular season and was awarded All League honors. The 200 Free Relay and 400 Free relays swam their best races of the season at NCS and included Clara Feldman and Sarah Ramsdell.
