Letters of Recomendation

Letters of Recommendation are regularly requested by colleges/universities as well as special summer educational programs. Students are encouraged to give teachers or counselors 3 weeks notice from the application’s deadline.

Students are encouraged to provide teachers and counselors with an overview of their accomplishments as well as what strengths and goals the student would want the recommender to highlight.

Seniors

Seniors who need a letter of recommendation for colleges/universities or summer programs should make an appointment with their counselor. Filling out the senior packet in Naviance can give your counselor more information to use for your letter of recommendation. Please note, teachers do not have access to students’ Naviance accounts, so making a copy of the pertinent content for the teacher from the senior packet would be helpful.
