Prerequisite:  Completion of Math Analysis or equivalent course with a grade of B or higher in the second semester.

Calculus AB is an Advanced Placement course, equivalent to a first semester college calculus course, which prepares students for technical and scientific studies as well as other areas of study that require advanced math.  Students will develop both a mechanical and conceptual understanding of a variety of topics, which involve differential and integral calculus and apply concepts to real-world situations.  Students prepare for the AP Calculus AB exam in Spring.  Students who sign up for AP Calc AB will be required to complete a summer review assignment prior to the course.
