IM2 is a standard-paced integrated math course.   It is the second in the standard four-year high school math progression (IM1 - IM2 - IM3 - Math Analysis).   As an integrated math course, the content of IM2 features both algebraic and geometric approaches to solving problems,   Key concepts include functions (quadratic), nonlinear systems of equations, complex numbers, area, volume, surface area, permutations, combinations, and geometric proofs.

This class covers the material in the Model Mathematics II course of the Integrated Pathway in the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics for California Public Schools.   The Standards for Mathematical Practice will also be woven throughout lessons, student practice assignments, and assessments.
